Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team as a Preventative Maintenance Engineer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy mobile plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of heavy mobile plant equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
  • Conduct visual inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and develop maintenance plans to prevent downtime.
  • Perform minor repairs and replacements as required, and install telematic systems to enhance equipment performance.
  • Work closely with the controller to prioritize maintenance activities and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a related engineering function, such as car mechanic, HGV fitter, or military vehicle maintenance.
  • Formal training in health and safety is desirable, but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of heavy mobile plant equipment and maintenance procedures.
