About the Role

As an Electrical Systems Manager at Human Engineering Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for cranes and lifting equipment meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in preparing tender responses for overseeing projects.
* Conduct site surveys to assess existing conditions and identify potential issues.
* Provide technical support for electrical, PLC, and drive systems, including troubleshooting and fault-finding.
* Review PLC and drive specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Develop and implement automation project documentation and certification packages.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce maintenance documents and Factory Acceptance Tests.
* Back up PLCs and drives from existing systems for reverse engineering or upgrading purposes.
* Design and code electrical and PLC systems for onshore and offshore cranes and lifting equipment.
* Lead installation of projects, liaising between engineers and subcontractors.
* Perform initial commissioning of projects, including I/O checks and power on checks.
* Prepare work-packs and other documentation.

Requirements
- Strong knowledge and experience of programming Siemens PLCs (Step 5, Step 7, & TIA Portal).
- Good working knowledge of Siemens Drives (MasterDrives, Micromasters, & Sinamics).
- Knowledge of VFD/VSD drives and their interaction with PLCs.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Methodical and dynamic approach.
- Good communication skills.
- Experience with onshore or offshore crane and lifting equipment is preferred.
- Understanding of HSEQ requirements offshore is required.
- Sound IT skills, including MS Project, Excel, and Word.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in maintaining electrical, PLC, and Drive systems.
