Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Protecnium, a leading international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technician services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health and safety on our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the maximum representative of Health and Safety on site, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies, ensuring the fulfillment of all necessary documents and procedures.
- Communicate closely with the customer's Health and Safety Manager to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
- Identify and mitigate potential health and safety risks, developing and implementing action plans to prevent accidents and incidents.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Health and Safety Manager in similar projects, with a strong background in site construction and stainless steel welding processes.
- Proficiency in relevant health and safety courses, including Confined Space, Works at Height, Cherry Picker, Telehandler, Rigger/Slinger, and CSCS Green Card.
- Ability to create RAMs (Risk Assessment and Method Statements) for various construction operations.
- Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable.
- A Health and Safety degree or equivalent qualification is an asset.
