About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with Reed Exhibitions Limited Company as a Conference Programme Manager in our Chemical Portfolio. Our events deliver exceptional experiences across Europe, Asia, and Latin America, including in-cosmetics Global, in-cosmetics Asia, in-cosmetics Korea, in-cosmetics Latin America, and ChemSpec. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and managing the content across all theatres, requiring excellent research and communication skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to create compelling programmes tailored to specific audience personas.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a content strategy and plan for all events within the portfolio, utilising customer insights, needs, and behaviours.
  • Generate high-quality, research-based conference agendas and event formats to meet the needs of different visitor personas/audience segments.
  • Identify, secure, and manage high-profile speakers from leading end-user organisations.
  • Collaborate with conference sponsors and their customers to ensure the objectives of both exhibitors and visitors are met.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support the delivery of the visitor audience by assisting with the messaging.
  • Contribute to the content marketing strategy and tactics for the event by helping to create compelling content.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand the needs of the exhibitor customer to identify sponsorship and new product opportunities.
  • Build long-term relationships with the publishing community along with internal stakeholders in marketing, sales, and operations.

Requirements

  • Have previous experience in Conference production.
  • Have excellent organisation and multi-tasking skills.
  • Be able to research new markets and deliver top-level programs to tight deadlines.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be a true team player with effective people management skills.
