Job Title: VP of Development

Job Summary:
IC Resources is seeking a highly skilled VP of Development to lead the early stage technology delivery to our company's business plan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all technical developments of the company and working closely with the CTO and CEO as part of the Executive Management team to develop and deliver the technology roadmap. Developing and maintaining a deep technical knowledge of the LED market will be required as well as managing all technical operations in-line with the company strategy. Reporting to the Board on the technical development progress will be an important part of the role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strong background in III-V compound semiconductor technology, specifically GaN
  • Materials science background, with knowledge of MOCVD and epitaxial growth
  • R&D specialist having worked at a commercial organisation to deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills
  • Educated to Ph.D. Level in the relevant field
