About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shop Manager to join our team at ExtraCare Charitable Trust. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of volunteers to achieve sales and profit targets, while maintaining high merchandising standards and promoting our work in the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a part-time deputy manager and a team of volunteers to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Autonomously manage the shop using innovative and enterprising initiatives to deliver an excellent customer experience.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a highly motivated team of volunteers.
  • Deliver high merchandising standards and promote our work in the local community.
  • Manage the shop's budget and resources to achieve sales and profit targets.

Requirements:

  • Manager or supervisor with previous retail experience.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering results.
  • Proven track record of recruiting, training, and developing a highly motivated team.
  • Possess the 'retail instinct' and creative skills to generate donations.
  • Lead from the front with a 'hands-on' approach when required.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and a team player.
