About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join our senior leadership team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing trusted advisory services to a diverse portfolio of UK and international clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a significant and diverse portfolio of clients, providing expert corporate tax advice and ensuring timely compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee the commercial aspects of your portfolio, ensuring accurate and timely fee issuance.
  • Review complex corporate tax returns and computations, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Work closely with Partners to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met.
  • Analyse and interpret data to prepare tax advice, providing expert insights to clients.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff, promoting a positive team culture.
  • Lead liaison with HMRC on behalf of clients, proactively handling enquiries.

Requirements
  • CTA qualified or qualified by extensive experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in a corporate tax role within practice.
  • Proven track record of team management and mentorship.
  • Strong understanding of current tax and general accounting UK regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
  • Ability to manage own workload to ensure deadlines are always met.
  • Strong time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure.
  • Sound IT skills to efficiently carry out work.
