Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team at Limewood Care Home. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, feeding, and mobility
  • Support residents with their medication, including administration and monitoring
  • Engage with residents in activities and hobbies, promoting social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification or equivalent
  • At least 12 months of experience working as a Care Assistant or in a related role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts and weekends
