HCRG Workforce Solutions is seeking a skilled Dental Nurse to provide clinical and administrative support to our dental team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dental surgery, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical and administrative support to the Dental Officer, including preparation and sterilization of instruments, reception duties, and document handling.
- Ensure compliance with the General Dental Council (GDC) Principles and Standards for Dental Professionals.
- Manage patient appointments, dental records, and stock control procedures.
- Adhere to local health and safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in emergency and resuscitation procedures, and maintain current training and certification.
- Fully registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) without restrictions.
- Valid suitable and appropriate indemnity insurance with a recognized dental defense organization.
- Current clinical currency, with a minimum of 2 clinical sessions per week over the last 15 months.
- Completed GDC highly recommended Continuing Professional Development (CPD) including medical emergencies, safeguarding children and vulnerable adults, disinfection and decontamination, radiography, and radiation protection.
- Additional health clearance checks for clinicians required to perform Exposure Prone Procedures.
- Previous Ministry of Defence (MoD) experience.
- Hold a Dental Nurse qualification.
