Job Description:Vancouver Community College is seeking a qualified Instructor to teach students in the automotive trades. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys sharing their knowledge and skills with others and making a positive impact on the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach students using a diverse range of instruction methods and tools.
- Develop curriculum and prepare teaching materials, including audio-visual and web-related materials where appropriate.
- Assist and support students and potential students by advising on program curricula and career decisions.
Requirements:
- Possession of an Inter-Provincial/Provincial Automotive Trades Qualification Certificate.
- Demonstrated recent work experience of at least 10 years in the automotive trade.
- Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills in English (oral and written).
- Valid Class 5 British Columbia Driver's License or equivalent.
Estimated Salary: $100,000 - $160,000 per year based on qualifications and experience.
