Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Corporate Finance Executive to join our award-winning local team. As a Corporate Finance Executive, you will gain experience in the preparation and execution of the sale and acquisition of businesses, including trade sales, private equity investments, debt-funded management buy-outs, and sales to employee ownership trusts.

You will have a great deal of freedom in your role, and you must be a highly motivated self-starter. We are a small team, and we look for ambitious individuals who are naturally inquisitive and want to understand the businesses they are advising. Much of your role is client-facing, so you need to be articulate, sociable, and good with people.

Day-to-Day Duties
  • Assist in the preparations for taking businesses to market, including the preparation of Information Memoranda, buyer research and approach, collation and review of commercial and financial information ahead of diligence.
  • Prepare financial analyses in connection with due diligence assignments.
  • Involvement in business development opportunities, networking, and marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare pitch packs ahead of meetings with potential new clients.
  • Work closely with clients as an integral part of project delivery teams.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA/CA newly qualified (or equivalent).
  • Experience working in an Accountancy practice, e.g., Audit or Accounts Senior.
  • Naturally inquisitive with the ability to see beyond the numbers.
  • Articulate, sociable, and good with people.
