Estimating Professional - Roofing and Building Envelopes Job Description

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + discretionary bonus per annum

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimating Professional to join our team in East Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating projects ranging from £5,000 to £2 million.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the roofing and cladding market sector, with a good understanding of technical drawings and a strong communication skillset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review tender enquiries and specifications to gain an understanding of project requirements
  • Liaise with clients to acquire any additional information required
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain competitive prices
  • Producing formal quotations to clients
  • Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal databases
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
  • Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in estimating within the roofing and cladding market sector
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Full UK driving license
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office)
  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail
