About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team on the PPP (Programme and Project Partners) programme. As part of this 20-year arrangement, you will be working on major projects worth ~£7bn, delivering site-wide improvements and supporting services.

The Special Nuclear Materials (SNM) Future State Programme is one of the most complex challenges facing the NDA (Nuclear Decommissioning Authorities). Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring safe and secure storage of material by developing capabilities to manage the right material, package, and store it effectively.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Design from concept to completion using Auto desk inventor
  • Plan and coordinate engineering activities
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions for complex projects
  • Identify design requirements and contribute to risk assessments
  • Produce technical reports and specifications
