We are currently seeking an experienced Catering Manager to join our team at Domis Construction. This is an exciting opportunity to work in our catering facility, Domis Eat, where you will be responsible for providing an efficient service under all areas of your control. As the Catering Manager, you will work closely with our operations manager to deliver excellent customer service, food hygiene, and overall experience within Domis Eat.

About the Role:
This is a full-time, permanent position based in Manchester. You will work approximately 37.5 hours per week between 6am and 3pm Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings and other events providing a breakfast and lunch service. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within contract catering or a similar role and possess high levels of personal hygiene and appearance. A food hygiene certificate is desirable.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all day-to-day aspects of preparation and cooking of freshly made food/sandwiches to Domis Eat standards.
- Serve customers and use an epos till system.
- Ensure that food is presented and served in a clean and hygienic environment at all times.
- Drive sales and promote excellent service.
- Undertake all aspects in cleaning equipment to the Domis Eat standard in line with the cleaning rota or as directed.
- Implement and maintain statutory and company standards of hygiene, food safety, and health and safety.
- Effectively manage and develop a team to ensure service excellence at all times.
- Check in deliveries and temperatures on delivery, put away deliveries as directed.
- Use stock rotation as appropriate in the storerooms.
- Accountable for maintaining and controlling food stocks within budget.
- Record food temperatures during service.
- To record wastage.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
