We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Consultant to join our team at Barlborough Hospital, a state-of-the-art Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgery Hospital. As a key member of our anaesthetic team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic services to support elective orthopaedics and spinal surgery.

• Provide pre and post-operative assessment of patients
• Deliver cutting-edge anaesthetic techniques to enable same-day discharge after knee and hip replacement surgery
• Collaborate with our team of Consultants across various specialisms and the hospital's Medical Director, Marco, and local Leadership Team
• Contribute to the development of Clinical Quality Standards and participate in our audit and clinical governance programme

• Current registration with the GMC's specialist register of anaesthetics
• Several years' experience, with at least 2 years in the UK
• Commitment to ongoing medical education and professional development
