Job Title: Psychology Teaching Assistant

Academics is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychology Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist school in Wantage. As a Psychology Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal growth of children with Autism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and provide specific interventions to aid in the children's learning
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for learning to take place
  • Encourage students to achieve their best academically and personally
  • Monitor and track academic achievements
  • Have a good understanding of safeguarding principles
Requirements:
  • Kind, caring, and compassionate nature
  • Determination to make a difference in the lives of students
  • Patient and adaptable approach
  • Experience working with children, especially those with SEN (desirable)
  • Enhanced DBS check (facilitated by Academics)
Benefits:
  • Competitive daily rate: £83.50 - £90
  • Full-time position (Monday - Friday, 08:30am - 3:30pm)
  • ASAP start
