Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Preservation & Access Team as a Digital Archives Assistant (Trainee). This exciting opportunity will provide the successful candidate with the chance to gain hands-on experience in maintaining and developing our digital services in a high-profile archive.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the development and maintenance of our digital archive services, ensuring seamless access to our collections.
  2. Collaborate with the team to identify and implement innovative solutions for digital preservation and access.
  3. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures for digital collections management.
  4. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of digital archive services.
  5. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in digital archives and collections management.
Requirements
  1. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  2. A strong interest in heritage, archives, or collections management, particularly digital collections.
