Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all production art and pre-press jobs meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

This includes checking digital artwork / proofs to ensure they will print correctly and providing feedback to the production team in a timely manner.

You will also be responsible for maintaining an accurate permanent asset database using internal MIS and adhering to all internal processes in place for art working and repro.

Key Skills and Experience

">
  • Previous experience working in a pre-press/printing environment.">
  • Good understanding of digital file formats (pdf, tiff, eps) from different operating systems (Mac and PC).">
  • Basic color management skills and ability to understand and recognize different digital formats.">
  • Ability to output digital files to various output devices; must have ability to continue to learn and use new graphics software on an ongoing basis.">
  • Knowledge of different print processes: Flexo, Litho, Gravure.">
  • Good knowledge of repro.">
  • Strong communication skills with ability to provide clear and concise feedback to production team.">

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
