Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Glebe Farm Foods Ltd. As a key member of our engineering and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective running of our production facilities, minimizing downtime, and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure effective running of production facilities, with a focus on maximum uptime and minimal downtime for internal customers.
  • Complete site PM and legal checks in agreed timescales, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety processes and procedures, promoting a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Implement site production improvements, proposing and executing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Perform other tasks as reasonably required by colleagues, contributing to the overall success of the team.

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate will possess a mechanical or electrical qualification or relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in the food manufacturing industry is an advantage.

Desirable Skills and Attributes:

  • Able to identify faults, particularly in PLC control and instrumentation.
  • Demonstrable experience on steam pipe work, boiler room BOAS Certification, and HVAC and chiller systems.
  • Effective communication skills at all levels, with the ability to build good relationships with the wider team.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering efficient and effective solutions.
