Specialised Caregiver

About the Role

HammondCare At Home is seeking permanent part-time Specialised Carers to provide support to clients across the Hawkesbury region. As a Specialised Carer, you will provide essential and practical care to help older people live independently in their homes and directly improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing personal care, including helping with showering and dressing
• Assisting with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation and light house cleaning
• Providing transportation to appointments and assisting with shopping
• Assisting with medication

About You

• You are patient, solutions-focused, and able to relate to people
• You may have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care
• You have a valid driver's license and access to an insured, reliable car
• Ideally, you hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support

Benefits

• $29.56 to $32.45 per hour, plus 99c/km and paid travel time
• Full training is provided, with no experience necessary
