Job Overview

iO Associates, a leading recruitment agency in the UK/EU, is partnering with a global packaging client to deliver two critical capital expenditure projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of these initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing requirement specifications in collaboration with other teams, such as Operations. This includes:

  • Utilizing specialized knowledge to deliver capex projects that meet the correct technical specifications.
  • Creating accurate cost estimates and project schedules.
  • Ensuring efficient spend management for capex projects.
  • Coordinating and managing external resources effectively.
  • Maintaining accurate financial data, including spend and forecast, throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Overseeing construction activities and commissioning processes.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a background as a hands-on Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Engineer, with experience transitioning into project management. Having a background within the Packaging industry is highly beneficial.

Salary and Location

This exciting opportunity comes with a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. The position is based in Cheshire, offering an excellent work-life balance and access to top-notch amenities.
