Job Title: School Food Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Food Technology Technician to join our team at Outwood Grange Academies Trust. As a key member of the Technology department, you will play a vital role in delivering an efficient and effective support service to staff and students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of food lessons, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students.
  • Support the Technology team in maintaining equipment and machinery, and provide training to staff and students as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and parents, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of food technology programs, ensuring alignment with curriculum requirements and educational standards.
Requirements:
  • Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths, and a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in an education environment, preferably in food technology or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • A flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
