Job Opportunity

Join Mattinson Partnership, a leading consultancy firm based in Nottinghamshire, as a Consultant Ecologist. This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside industry experts, providing quality advice to renowned clients in the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct key assessments, including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs) and Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIAs).
  • Prepare and manage protected species licenses.
  • Carry out desk studies and handle GIS mapping responsibilities.
  • Organize and oversee field surveys, analyzing and interpreting findings.
  • Manage team members' fieldwork and logistical needs.
  • Provide ecological input for BREEAM and Code assessments.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need previous experience in an ecological consultancy environment. You should have experience with BNG assessments, protected species surveys, UK Habs assessments, GIS data mapping, organizing fieldwork, and technical report writing. Additionally, you'll need at least one protected species license, a full UK driver's license, and access to a vehicle for site work around the UK.
