We are seeking a skilled Garage Equipment Technician to join our team at MEM Recruitment, specialising in the service, maintenance, repair and calibration of garage equipment, industrial doors and lubrication systems in the UK.
The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, repairing and maintaining all types of garage equipment, including Vehicle Lifts, Brake Testers, Wheel & Tyre Equipment, and Compressors.
Responsibilities:
- Field-based role covering surrounding areas.
- Diagnose and identify faults and malfunctions across all types of Garage Equipment.
- Carry out MOT calibrations and preventive maintenance to a high standard.
- Installation of garage Equipment.
- Control of van stock levels to ensure a first-time fix can be achieved where possible.
- Completion and submission of accurate paperwork.
- Compliance with laws and regulations covering Health and Safety within the workplace.
Requirements:
- Able to work lone and as part of a team.
- Maintain good communication skills with customers and colleagues.
- Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised.
