Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer

About the Role:
As a Senior Structural Engineer at Penguin Recruitment, you will be responsible for the structural design of buildings in various sectors, including commercial, industrial, health, leisure, retail, and residential development. You will work on a range of projects, predominantly covering the north of England, but may also include sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design structural engineering projects with a focus on new build projects and foundation and retaining wall designs.
- Prepare structural engineering inspection reports on various building types and structures, involving long distance travel to different parts of the UK.
- Utilize TEKLA and TEDDS software, with proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD also being beneficial.

Requirements:
- 4 years of previous UK-based consultancy experience within the field of structural engineering.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
- Management skills in assessing potential projects and preparing fee quotes.
