Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Fitter to join our team at SSE Enterprise. As an Electrical Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and inspecting our transmission network, ensuring the safe and reliable delivery of electricity to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and inspect electrical switchgear and plant up to 400kV
  • Perform maintenance, inspections, and defect repairs on power systems
  • Assist with construction works and ensure best value for money
  • Participate in standby duties for faults work
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of working on the electrical network, ideally dealing with LV and HV plant maintenance
  • High regard for safety and adherence to guidelines
  • Outstanding customer relationship skills and a commitment to providing a high-level service
  • Enthusiasm and drive with a flexible approach to work
