Job Title: Lifeguard

We are seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Lifeguard to join our team at Mytime Active. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for our pool users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain vigilant supervision of pool users and ensure their safety at all times.
  • Attend staff training and obtain the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.
  • Administer first aid, effect pool rescues, and apply resuscitation as necessary.
  • Deal with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring the highest level of customer enjoyment and satisfaction.
  • Comply with facilities Health and Safety procedures, carry out regular inspections, and report any maintenance issues.
  • Carry out cleaning duties to the highest possible standards.
  • Prepare activity areas, setting up and dismantling equipment safely, and ensuring all equipment is stored securely.
  • Conduct pool water quality and environmental tests, as well as spa tests if necessary.
  • Attend regular team meetings and provide feedback to the Duty Manager on operational issues.
Requirements:
  • Ability to swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds and 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water, and tread water for 30 seconds.
  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is desirable, but we can provide training and qualification for suitable candidates.
