Children and Families Social Care Professional

Kent County Council's Disabled Children's Team North is seeking a dedicated Children and Families Social Care Professional to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with experienced Social Workers, Senior Practitioners, and other colleagues to deliver high-quality services and support to clients and their families.
With a salary of around £26,000 - £33,000 per annum, this role offers a competitive compensation package and extensive training opportunities to ensure success. Our team prioritises building and consolidating best practice in social work, with regular supervision and ongoing learning encouraged to help staff grow and develop their skills and knowledge.
You will contribute to delivering outstanding services to young people with disabilities and their families, working collaboratively with Health, Education, and the voluntary sector to achieve the best possible outcomes. Our Strengthening Independence Service has a strong reputation for delivering exceptional support, as recognised by Ofsted in 2022.
The team works in a hybrid environment, allowing you to balance home and office working, and encourages our staff to excel in their roles. Key responsibilities include assessing client needs, developing support plans, and working with families to achieve positive outcomes.
