Financial Operations Manager

We are partnering with a highly regarded hotel in Reading to find a talented Finance Manager to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities- Oversee the daily running of the finance team, providing financial support to senior managers and department heads
- Ensure financial controls are adhered to in line with corporate standards
- Supervise key areas such as cost control, income audit, accounts payable/receivable, and more
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accurate general ledger postings
- Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and analysis
- Use financial data trends and market insights to recommend actions that maximize returns
- Support external and statutory audits as needed
- Prior experience in hotel accounting
- Experience with financial software such as Opera/Microsoft Dynamics, or similar
- Strong knowledge of finance, budgeting, and accounting processes
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage a finance team
- 28 days holiday (rising to 33 with service)
