Delivery Postie with Driving - Durham Delivery Office
Job type: Permanent contract
At Royal Mail, we're reinventing ourselves for the future, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Delivery Postie with driving experience. As a key member of our Durham Delivery Office, you'll be responsible for delivering mail and packages to our customers in the DH1 1SE area.
About the role
We're looking for someone who is upbeat, independent, and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills and a strong sense of community. You'll need to be happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather, and you'll have a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
What we offer
We're proud to offer market-leading pay and benefits, including pay that's 10% above the market average, paid monthly, and an hourly rate of £12.54p/hr. You'll also receive 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service, and a company pension scheme with competitive contribution rates.
