Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Physiotherapist to join our cardiorespiratory team in Basildon. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals, providing high-quality patient-centred care in a dynamic and innovative environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering physiotherapy interventions to patients admitted to the critical care unit and acute respiratory adult inpatient ward. They will prioritize referrals, develop effective care plans, and provide specialist clinical advice to patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.

Main Duties
  • Provide expert physiotherapy services to critically ill patients, prioritizing their needs and developing tailored care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient care, promoting independence and rehabilitation.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, providing clear and concise advice to patients, carers, and colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and respiratory physiotherapy, with experience in supervising staff or students. A passion for delivering high-quality patient care, combined with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, is essential for success in this role.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional development and career advancement within our organisation.
