About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Plot Sales Paralegal to join our Property team. As a Plot Sales Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in advising clients on the acquisition of large residential sites for developer clients and setting up these sites for onward plot sale disposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing Contract Packs: You will be responsible for preparing contract packs for plot sales to send to the purchaser's solicitor.
  • Dealing with Enquiries: You will deal with purchaser's enquiries relating to title, searches, and site-specific information.
  • Reviewing Title Documents: You will review title documents, searches, and protocol forms on part-exchange properties, raise enquiries, and prepare part-exchange files for completion.
  • Dealing with Exchanges and Completions: You will deal with exchanges and completions for plot sales and part-exchanges.
  • Re-selling Part-exchange Properties: You will re-sell part-exchange properties to a purchaser.
  • Attending Client Meetings: You will attend weekly and ad-hoc client meetings to update on all current plot sales files.

Requirements:

  • Great Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office: You will have a great working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You will have excellent communication skills.
  • Strong Administration Skills: You will have strong administration skills and real attention to detail.
  • A People Person: You will be a people person who is approachable and works well as part of a team.
  • Results-Focused: You will be results-focused.
  • Willingness to Learn: You will have a willingness to learn and develop your conveyancing expertise.
