Sustainable Agriculture Leader for UK and Ireland

As the Sustainable Agriculture Leader, you will be responsible for driving sustainable farming practices in the UK and Ireland region. With a strong focus on environmental stewardship, you will provide guidance and leadership to ensure our operations meet the highest standards of sustainability.
We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and promoting biodiversity throughout our supply chain. As part of our team, you will work closely with suppliers, farmers, and stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable agriculture practices that align with our Group's Scope 3 strategy.
A key aspect of this role is to analyze data-driven insights and identify opportunities for improvement in our regional suppliers' (coops, traders, dealers) and farmers' performance. You will also support the development of roadmaps to achieve our Group's Flag commitment and contribute to internal and external reporting on sustainability metrics.
To succeed in this position, you will need a strong analytical background, a passion for sustainable farming, and excellent communication skills. We are looking for an individual who can influence and drive change across multiple regions and years.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Group Sustainable Agriculture Manager in driving sustainable barley Scope 3 roadmaps for the UK and Ireland region
- Monitoring regional Agri programs, including certification on CO2 and SAI or equivalent
- Assisting the Group Sustainable Agriculture Manager in achieving results needed to keep global warming below 1.5 degrees through farmer programs subject to business needs
- Identifying 3rd parties for data gathering, data validation, certificate generation, etc.
- Supporting reporting on barley footprint and SAI certified using Power-BI or equivalent tools
We offer an attractive salary range of £55,000-£75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and career opportunities within our global organization.
