About the Role

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including commercial, industrial, nuclear, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Develop fire strategies and performance-based designs, supported by fire and evacuation modelling, risk analysis, and cost benefit analysis
  • Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Produce fire safety engineering reports
  • Review design information such as drawings and documents
  • Ensure work is compliant with client expectations and contractual obligations
  • Resolve fire engineering concerns by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Fire, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or similar)
  • Relevant experience is desirable
  • Full UK driving license
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Computer literate (e.g. Blue Beam, Microsoft, CAD, smoke modelling software)
  • Ability to travel within the UK and overseas
