Job Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Director to join our team at Stonegate Group, a leading operator of pubs, bars, and late-night venues in the UK. This is a key role that will play a pivotal part in shaping and executing our commercial strategy to achieve volumes, sales, and EBITDA targets.



About the Role:

The Senior Commercial Director will report directly to the Director of Insights and Marketing and will work closely with revenue management, marketing, operations, and sales teams. Key responsibilities will include developing and implementing the overall commercial strategy, owning the integrated business planning process, and supporting the division in the development of annual integrated commercial plans.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the overall commercial strategy in alignment with Stonegate's strategy, business goals, and objectives.
  • Integrated Business Planning: Own the integrated business planning process and support the division in the development of the annual integrated commercial plans, ensuring strategic insight, direction, and KPI analysis are all leveraged.
  • Sales Performance & Governance: Work closely with the Margin Management and Revenue Management teams to monitor and analyse sales performance, developing insights recommending actions to improve results.
  • Pricing and Promotion: Collaborate with the Margin Management and Revenue Management teams on pricing and promotional activity, responsible for positioning strategy based on data insights.
  • Market Analysis: Work with the category and capacity planning team to incorporate market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights to identify trends and opportunities for strategic business planning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with aligned partners in Finance, as well as commercial, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of commercial strategies and alignment across departments.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in a financial or business-related field and significant experience in a senior financial or commercial management role within the hospitality, food, and beverage, or related industries. A strong track record of developing and implementing successful commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability is essential.



What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, 25 days annual leave, an Annual Leave Purchase Scheme, pension, opt-in dental insurance programme, and an annual bonus scheme.
