Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ICT Support Professional to join our team at Canon EMEA. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the stable operation of our in-house computer software systems and network connections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize all network software and communication links within Canon EMEA.
  • Ensure effective and efficient systems support to meet office requirements and according to the quality and service levels set by the line manager.
  • Support end users in applying Information Technology, answering questions, and solving IT related problems.
  • Analyze and resolve end user(s) software program and connectivity issues in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide and deliver end user(s) training when required.

Requirements

  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English essential.
  • High level of written and spoken communications required.
  • Friendly & professional appearance, attitude and communication style.
  • Excellent analytical, logical and problem-solving skills.
  • Motivation, aptitude & accuracy for working with computers.
  • Lifting of heavy computer hardware and peripherals.
  • Full, clean, UAE driving license.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Knowledge of programming concepts and techniques is a plus.
  • Knowledge/experience of software debugging techniques and good problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Web application technologies.
  • Familiarity with VISIO and other MS Office applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong network infrastructure skills is required.
