Payroll Administrator

Our client, a family-run food manufacturer, is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing payroll for employees accurately and on time, maintaining employee payroll records, and ensuring data integrity. Additionally, they will calculate and process adjustments, deductions, and withholdings, resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues, and stay up-to-date with payroll legislation and regulations. The Payroll Administrator will also prepare payroll reports for management and accountants, collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate employee data, and perform data entry tasks related to employee information updates or changes. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role, strong knowledge of SAGE Payroll, and excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. They will also possess strong analytical skills to analyze payroll data and identify discrepancies, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism. The working hours are Monday to Friday 09:00 am - 03:00 pm (30 hours), and the salary is £0 per hour depending on experience. The role is permanent, and the company offers a pension and company events.
