We are seeking an exceptional Drama and Dance educator to join our vibrant faculty at Academics. As a passionate advocate for the arts, you will inspire and motivate young learners to unleash their creativity and self-expression.

About the Role

This permanent, full-time position offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of secondary school students. You will design and deliver engaging drama and dance lessons, create a nurturing learning environment, and collaborate with colleagues to develop an inspiring arts curriculum.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver high-quality drama and dance lessons that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and self-expression
  • Choreograph and direct captivating performances that showcase student talent
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback on student progress
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement an engaging arts curriculum
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Drama, Dance, or a related field
  • Recognised teaching qualification, e.g. PGCE/QTS
  • Prior experience teaching relevant subjects at secondary school level
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the subject
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for the arts and a genuine desire to inspire and motivate young learners
