Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled maintenance professional to join our team at a renowned UK-wide remediation company. As a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of equipment and machinery.



Responsibilities:

  • Fault Finding and Modification: Using electrical and mechanical drawings, you will undertake fault finding and modification of plant and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting Breakdowns: Minimize production downtime by troubleshooting breakdowns and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Use a Maintenance Management System to carry out planned and preventative maintenance work.
  • Electrical and Mechanical Work: Perform electrical and mechanical work, including fabrication, welding, and small electrical installation work.


Requirements:

  • Time Served Apprenticeship: Minimum level 3 qualification in a relevant field.
  • Multiskilled: Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic/hydraulic systems, fabrication, and welding skills are desirable.
  • Industrial Experience: Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Fault Finding Skills: Ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams and fault finding control panels.
