About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Support Worker to join our team at Riverside. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to our customers, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support to customers, helping them to develop life skills and achieve their goals
  • Work with customers to identify and address their needs, developing personalized support plans to help them achieve their goals
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to customers, helping them to cope with challenging situations
  • Work collaboratively with other teams and agencies to provide a holistic range of support to customers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of support plans, ensuring that they are tailored to the individual needs of each customer
  • Provide administrative support, maintaining accurate records and reports as required
Requirements
  • Experience of working with vulnerable adults, preferably in a care or support setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of customers
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, including the Care Act and the Mental Health Act
  • Ability to work as part of a team, contributing to the development and implementation of support plans
