About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Professional to join our team at Radfield Home Care Colchester, Frinton & Clacton. As a Home Carer, you will play a vital role in supporting adults who wish to remain in their own homes, providing them with the care and companionship they need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily routines, such as getting up in the morning or preparing for bed at night.
  • Provide elements of personal care, ensuring the client's dignity and comfort are maintained.
  • Ensure the client's home is safe and clean, with a focus on preventing falls and accidents.
  • Prepare meals and collect shopping or prescriptions, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Accompany clients to appointments in the community, providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Offer a listening ear and provide reassurance, helping clients to feel secure and valued.

Person Specification

  • You must be over the age of 18, hold a full UK driving licence, and have access to a vehicle.
  • A great personality and good values are essential for delivering exceptional care.
