The Role:

Based at our site in Birtley, drivers may be required to work from other company sites.

Duties include:

  • Safely drive and operate Class 2 RCV/Roll on Roll Off/Skip vehicles, involving regular manual labour.
  • Transporting recyclable and waste materials to various locations.
  • Carrying out duties in accordance with Company rules, including Health and Safety, at all times.

Key skills/experience:

Applicants should have:

  • Experience in waste operations and knowledge of routes/areas.
  • At least 2 years of driving experience.
  • A full driver CPC qualification and digital tacho card.
  • No more than 6 points on their license.

Applicants must be reliable, trustworthy, with good communication skills and a polite professional manner.

The ideal candidate should have a flexible approach to overtime working to meet customer requirements.
