About the Role

As a Master Craftsman in our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of manufacturing. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pattern/Mould Maker to join our cutting-edge cast metals sector.

Location: Rotherham

Estimated Salary: £30,450 per annum

Job Description
  • You will interpret pattern assembly instructions from our Design Team and confirm manufacturing routes using SLA patterns, Styrofoam patterns, or sand-printed moulds.
  • Craft precise patterns following route card specifications and revisions, utilizing Autodesk Powermill to create CAM tool paths for CNC machining.
  • Operate CNC machines, set up SLA builds, and handle post-build cleanup.
  • Manufacture and assemble running and gating systems for ceramic mould preparation.
  • Operate advanced 3D sand printing machines and prepare moulds for casting.
  • Conduct quality checks and collaborate with the CMM department.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Skilled in pattern/mould making with a strong manufacturing background.
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in CNC machining and CAD/CAM software, including Autodesk Powermill, Lightyear, and Magics.
