Role Overview

Southern Water is seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our Wastewater Treatment Team. As an Instrumentation, Control, and Automation Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, diagnosing, modifying, and installing instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair instrumentation systems, including flow, level, pressure, temperature, and chemical systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with instrumentation systems.
  • Modify and install new instrumentation systems as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth operation of our sites.

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications in instrumentation and/or control, such as Level 3 NVQ or equivalent.
  • Experience in instrumentation and/or control, preferably in the water industry.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
