Runwood Homes Careers is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our Hospitality team. As a Second Chef, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents. Your expertise in food preparation and presentation will ensure that every meal meets the highest standards of quality and taste.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen
* Prepare and cook meals in accordance with the menu and company requirements
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines
* Monitor and control food stock levels to minimize waste
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu ideas
* Provide exceptional customer service to residents and their families

Requirements:

* Relevant experience in a catering environment
* NVQ 2 or City & Guilds Equivalent
* Food Hygiene level 2
* Team Player
* Understanding of special dietary and nutritional requirements
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
