Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage automotive content for the RAC Content Hub, ensuring high-quality and engaging content that meets our audience's needs.
  • Act as the editorial lead for car and van reviews, driving their ongoing improvement and optimization.
  • Ensure automotive advice and guide pages are regularly updated to maintain RAC's position as the leading destination for new and used car editorial.
  • Produce weekly and monthly editorial plans, prioritizing your workload to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Liaise with the RAC PR team to ensure best practices and maximize opportunities.
  • Support content diversification to engage users and crawlers across the core domain and shareable platforms.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive content creation, with a strong understanding of the industry.
  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to produce clear consumer content that explains complex concepts.
  • Ability to prioritize high-volume projects and processes, delivering results on time.
  • Confidence in working with a CMS and an eye for UX.
  • Experience in working at pace and achieving tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrable commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.
