SEN Teacher Position: Making a Difference in Education

About the RoleWe are seeking a qualified and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all students receive high-quality education and support. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver engaging and effective lessons, tailored to meet the individual needs of each student.
The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a degree qualification, and experience working with children with SEN. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/carers.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and Annual Reviews of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). You will also attend Progress Evaluation Panel (PEP) reviews and complete relevant documentation. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and contributing to the school's overall strategy and goals.
Key Responsibilities- To plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons, demonstrating outstanding teaching and learning practices.
- To ensure effective pastoral care of all children in the school, including behaviour management, child protection, and safeguarding.
- To identify strategies to overcome individual pupils' barriers to learning and implement effective interventions.
- To contribute to the Annual Review of EHCPs and write and implement ILPs.
