Pertemps Exeter is seeking a skilled Yard Operative to join our team at a recycling company based in Exeter. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our yard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently to process recyclable materials.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of materials from vehicles.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of £25,038 per annum.
  • Overtime paid at £19.26 per hour after 40 hours worked per week.
  • Monday-Friday working hours with a 30-minute paid break and 30-minute unpaid break.
  • Free parking on site or accessible by bus routes Green and B.
  • Canteen facilities on site.
  • Annual shut down between Christmas and New Year.
