Job Overview

This Associate Psychologist role is part of our ongoing collaboration with the Belfast Trust, aiming to place experienced professionals within Psychology Services. As a successful candidate, you will be working with individuals experiencing severe mental illness, applying your expertise in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and other relevant psychological interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality psychological services to patients with severe mental health conditions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Administer a range of psychological assessments and interventions as required.
Requirements

To succeed in this position, candidates must possess:

  • A First or Upper Second Class Honours degree in psychology or a related field.
  • Eligibility for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications in psychology or therapy.
  • Proven experience in administering psychological interventions, particularly DBT, within an Assistant/Associate Psychologist role in the UK.
  • A valid right to work in the UK and full driving license.

  • A competitive salary starting from £16.28 per hour for the first 12 weeks, increasing to £17 thereafter.
