Electronic System Designer Position

We are seeking an experienced Electronic System Designer to join our team at Orion Electrotech. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic system design, with experience in designing and developing high-voltage electronic systems.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a variety of projects, from designing new electronic systems to maintaining and improving existing designs. You will be responsible for providing technical support to production staff and contract manufacturing partners, as well as ensuring that all designs meet electrical and functional test specifications.

The successful candidate will have a degree in electronics or a related field and proven experience in designing and developing electronic systems. They will also be familiar with design for manufacturing and testing (DFM/DFT) principles and be able to work effectively in partnership with manufacturing and development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new electronic systems and sub-assemblies
  • Maintain and improve existing designs and test processes
  • Provide technical support to production staff and contract manufacturing partners
  • Ensure all designs meet electrical and functional test specifications

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electronic system design
  • Experience in designing and developing high-voltage electronic systems
  • Strong understanding of DFM/DFT principles
  • Able to troubleshoot and modify legacy designs
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum
